Scrapbook containing letters, inventories, military orders, accounts, muster lists, and ration lists. This collection provides a military service record during Jackson's campaigns on the Coosa River, and the lower Alabama and Mobile Rivers. Specifically, the collection deals with the activities of the 2nd Regiment of Tennessee at Mobile and Fort Claiborne, Ala. James Craig describes a skirmish against the British and foraging problems near Fort Claiborne, and provides inventories of deceased soldiers' possessions.
